The Weissensee area is a quiet area in the north of the city, a place where locals go to relax, or for an afternoon swim in the summer months. Spot that is just getting livelier by the many young couples deciding to settle here. And the Weissensee is not the only lake here. The Oranke Lake is walking distance from the Motorwerk event venue, and there is a beautiful restaurant and huge terrace over the lake. If you don’t feel like going the extra mile, the fun option is bowling, otherwise you can hop on the tram and reach one of the many bustling squares in the Prenzlauer Berg area.
