You wouldn’t be the first to not know about the Wadden Sea; it’s the world’s largest unbroken intertidal and sand-flat system, which spreads across three countries: Germany, the Netherlands and Denmark. However, not many people have heard of it, enhancing its charm.

The Vadehavscentret is the Wadden Seas’ visitor centre on Denmark’s mainland. It’s a fantastic travel incentive that companies like to include in their agenda, following a heavy schedule of meetings at their corporate event in Copenhagen and other neighbouring cities.

There is a wide array of options for spending your time at the Vadehavscentret, but most groups like to kick off their experience in the exhibition room to learn more about the Wadden Sea. The display spans 1,000 m2 and includes a selection of interactive exhibits showcasing the lifecycle of the mudflats.

After the exhibition, it’s time to explore the Wadden Sea with one of the Vadehavscentret’s experienced guides. Choose from a variety of excursions, from day tours where you’ll get to handpick your own oysters from the Wadden Sea to seal safaris on a tractor bus. That’s only scratching the surface, though; you may prefer to go on a cycling tour or take a kayak out into the waves alongside your team.
