Once a British artillery outpost, The Barracks Hotel Sentosa is a mixture of old-world charm with stylish amenities. Given a choice, I would stay there to while my time away in the pool and bask in the tropical sun, but you probably have better things to do here. With a quiet, conducive environment, tucked away in scenic Sentosa, the hotel restored the former British artillery barracks to set up the Events Centre, so there’s ample space for your exclusive corporate MICE event or a rejuvenating company retreat.
Against a quaint backdrop of the meticulously-restored heritage buildings, there is an outdoor arena on the Barracks Lawn that can hold as many as 360 guests for a welcome reception. You may also find the indoor Revelry Hall on Level 2, with a capacity of 280 guests, ideal for a conference or an exhibition. In case you need more than the 1,300 square metres of indoor and outdoor spaces that the hotel provides, the venue options extend to the neighbouring Oasia Resort Sentosa as well, with The Aloes having a banquet capacity of 160 pax and smaller rooms like Calamus and Cypress available for smaller meeting settings of less than 30 pax.
